About the speaker:

Steve Warner My Name is Steve Warner, I am 43 years old, Married to Philippa and have two children, Jacob (11) and Megan (8). I have been involved in fulltime youth work for the past 20 years. I began fulltime ministry with the Saltmine Trust, working in one of their evangelism team, working in many schools up and down the country.

I then worked for St Mary’s Church Luton for 5 years as their Youth Minister. This involved running youth clubs, small groups, youth weekends away, houseparties and one to one work.

For the past 10 years I have been working for Christchurch Harpenden as a Families Minister. This involves overseeing all the church work from 0-18 years old. I have more recently started teaching RE in a local school and assisting the Chaplain in his many chapel services.

I am an avid Spurs fan (Tottenham Hotspurs) and love to visit the cinema as often as I can (once 3 times in one evening). I love to play guitar and write songs and the person I would most like to meet is Bruce Springsteen.
